
Bette Miles-Holleman is a retail merchandiser, customer service analyst, model and stylist with over 25 years experience in the fashion industry. A home school mom of five, she travels, teaches and speaks internationally, and launched her own online magazine, Beauty Culture on Valentine's Day 2007. Bette also writes and publishes on Squidoo. She was elevated to the title of Giant Squid in September 2007. She received an Honorable Mention in the Squidoo Superhero Project, and became a Squid Activist in July 2008. Bette has studied and researched dietary intervention as an alternative to drugs since her two youngest children were diagnosed with Autism. She has experience with GF/CF (gluten free, casein free) diets, as well as diet and nutrition for other food sensitivites. She has based her home school lessons on the principles of the Charlotte Mason Method. She loves travel and meeting new people, and has taught students from Japan, China, Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda. In her spare time, Bette writes, knits, teaches, cooks, sings, lives and loves on the West Coast of the USA. She is blessed by every day God sends.
